One last chance

How many of you have managed to accomplish your dream?

I am sure when you were younger, your primary school teacher would ask you, 'What do you want to be when you grow up?'

Obviously at that age you would shout out, 'SUPERMAN!!', 'BATMAN!!', 'SUPERGIRL!!', 'SPIDERMAN!!'.

The classic superhero syndrome. Kids idolising fictional characters is really not such a bad thing. Superheroes in some sense do teach young ones to try and make sense of things happening around them, but then again there is the possibility of endangering themselves doing superhero stunts *LoL* Did we not all go through that stage.

Then as we reached up to the secondary level, again the teacher will ask, 'What do you want to become when you grow up?'

Then some serious consideration has been put into this plus the constant pressure from the MnD's [Mommy's and Daddy's] to become 'Doctors', 'Lawyers', 'Accountants' or any other glamorous job our MnD's could think of.

But it is not until you reach a certain level of maturity that you slowly realise that you want to become or do something which you are good at and which you 'Love'!!

I fell in love with radio broadcasting the moment I heard Jenny M and KC on the Pilihan Network [now working for KFM] eons ago. They were my idols and I even called them up a couple of times to join the quizes and games and the dedications and the song requests. It was so fun.

It was these two individuals who made me want to become a Radio Broadcaster. That is my dream job.

I did manage to get a job at a Local Radio Station a few years back. I did my 'Dream job'. I never wanted to quit. No one in their right mind would quit their 'Dream Job'. But sometimes 'shit' happens and you just have to move on.

I saw the advert on RA.com and I am in dilemma. Should I try it out? What are the chances that I would ever get to go back on the airwaves and spinning hit songs and cheering people up. The things I did, the people I met, it was like a fairytale. You can view some pictures of what I I have done before at this link [here]

I have till, well later today to decide if I want to send a demo or not. The choices we make *sigh*

Next post will be about the Korean restaurant, My Fiance and myself want to try it out. She has gone there with her friend and colleague, Mrs ZT, and I want my BimBimBap [I hope I spelt that right, it has been over a year since I went to South Korea]

Have a good day people and thanks for stopping by.

I think you should give it a try. I remembered listening to your show with your sidekick almost every morning until both of you parted ways.

Since then I stopped listening to that station and moved to KFM.

Perhaps use the previous experience as a lesson to learn :)

All the best!
