Mobile Dilemma

What is the ideal mobile phone for you? Many would favour Nokia for its sleek design and user friendly interface plus it is just plain cool. Others are daring and try other phones that may have fewer functions but look way cool when you answer your phone, like the RaZR V3.

With today's advancement it seems like more and more functions are being added to the mobile phone to make the user/consumers life much easier. Who in Brunei would have imagined mobile phones being fitted with mini cameras 10 years ago? I remembered when the 'M-system' was introduced and people owned those big block Motorola's or the Ericsson phones where you can change the ariels to flashing ariels. That was cool back then, but not now.

Better megapixel cameras, walkman functionality, good speaker, bluetooth, wi-fi, ability to use bigger external memory i.e. supports up to 2 GB; are among the basic things most people look for before they purchase a mobile phone.

Perhaps one should study how mobile phones slowly became important in our lives. One wonders how one family can afford to buy mobile phones for everyone in the household. I have form one students who own much more fancier and expensive phones then I do. Embarrassed I am 'Not', but intrigued I am 'Yes'.

I would love to go into great detail of giving an example with the number of family members multiply that with the number of recharge/top-up cards the family has to purchase every month but I do not really like doing the math, I will just let you decide.

But have you ever thought about 'YOUR' dream phone?
What functions would you want to have in the phone?
What would the phone look like?

Well all I can say is good luck to you. I have found the perfect phone for now but that is my choice. I am eyeing the SE W850i. My younger brother owns the white model so I might be tempted to get the same one or go for the black model. So what's yours?

Before I go, I would like to share this with you. Apparently, if you are an Apple fan, this would definitly appeal to you. Rumour has it that they are going to try their hands in the Mobile phone business and the 'i-phone' is scheduled to come out sometime next year. For more info click [here]

Here are a couple of the pictures of what the 'i-phone' would look like.
