V+R+B = - Blue
Drama! More Drama! and More Drama!
The beauty of Football.
I am not one to boast about my love for Man Utd but I got quite an ear full when Man Utd were beaten by Derby in the first leg.
The Title race is wide open now. Two games in hand and hopefully Man Utd will be able to capitalise and get all six points.
Wenger claims the EPL has lost his magic. Benitez is more vocal after his surgery.
The EPL is just about to heat up and that is why its the BEST league in the World, eventhough I have never been to Manchester or will I ever live there but I am a support them with pride, win or lose, A Red devil is always a Red Devil!!

UnInvited Old Man
So the second Ferry line lasted a good 50 mins plus plus. We were the first to get on the ferry and then a few moments later the ferry rocked and we felt like we tilted to the left a bit more. A quick rearview check and a huge truck was behind us on the Ferry.
We crossed the river and dashed to the second last immigration post which was at Lawas. Before the trip I had heard that the road was terrible and well, it was more that what I had anticipated.
A long stretch of gravel after the immigration post and made us lose some crutial time to get to KK. The initial 7 p.m. arrival was now a very daunting task. We managed to reach the final immigration post just before 6 p.m. and it was our uncle who was working at the immigration post. I am actually older than him but since his Mom is my 'Nini' that makes him my uncle.
To cut the long story short we took our sweet time driving to KK and had reset our ETA to 8 p.m. Then a long queue as the polis had a roadblock. This time we were let go. By that time I had confessed to Fayyad that we might as well reach KK at 9 p.m.
Funny enough we reached the hotel at 8.30 p.m. I was only driving at 90-100 km/hr. I was knackered and hungry. We checked in and I changed my t-shirt because it was dirty.
We walked to Warisan Square, if you are not familiar with this place, its the building right next to the Center Point. I had a craving for Fish and Chips so we went to Fish & Co.
After that I suggested to Fayyad that we relax at StarBucks. Fayyad agreed.
Went to Starbuck and I was annoyed because two people who ordered after me got their orders before I did. Bad Karma.
Then Fayyad showed me how to surf via the PSPs. I was frustrated because I could not log in to blogger. Then at midnight, while I was packing my stuff, an Old Man came up to our table and started to talk to us.
He was talking kinda funny and then he shaked hands with us and then it was obvious that the Old Man [OM] was drunk. He kept on shaking hands with us and saying how he wanted to leave. He even gave us a 'Salam'. For gods sake he was drunk. He ket on referring to himself as Pakcik!
Pakcik this! Pakcik that!
We layaned saja.
Then we told him we had to leave. His face changed to this serious mafia face. Scared the hell out of both of us.
He took a chair and sat down. He even had the guts to ask for a pint!
Then he started singing 'Madu~...'
We both applauded and said what a lovely voice he had.
Then I signaled Fayyad that we were going to make a run for it.
I check my watch it was quarter past midnight.
I gave him the nod and we both ran like we were being chased by a pack of wolves.
We only heard OM scream 'Oi!'
I am kind of in a rush now. So I will continue soon. I will tell you what happened in the next post. And a more detailed conversation of our encounter with OM.
MAN U WON BRAGGING RIGHTS AT THE KOP!!! Sorry Fayyad!! It don't matter that Arsenal are top. Man U Won at the Kop!!!
Oh and I am very tired tonight because I was driving the whole day to Mt Kinabalu and to the Hot Springs at Poring.
Got pictures and story to tell as well.

"... and he scores his first goal for United ..."
No tongue lashing or the usual early season mind games amongst two of the most respected managers in the BPL. But rather a clouded affair of Mr Jose's abrupt 'mutual departure'. Stepping in his position is Mr Avram Grant who apparently is close personal friend of the big boss, Mr Roman Abramovich.
I googled Mr Grant and found that he is from Israel and he coached Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccab Haifa. He also had a short stint at being the Israel National team coach. I saw him and there was not enough aura about him to suggest he had command of the team.
Post match review saw him arguing why the referee had not given a second yellow to Ronney for the push from behind on Ashely Cole late in the second half. When clearly, Joe Cole should have been given a straight red for his lunge on Evra in the first half which was an obvious foul and his tackle on Cristiano in the second. He was lucky to have been given a yellow and it was obvious he was very venting his frustrations.
Mr Joe Cole, I know you will never read this but what you did is wrong and you know it. You know you are very lucky to have been given just a yellow card. I guess now you know what it is like to be 'second' best!!! You are no doubt a very talented player and I guess now I know why Sir Alex never really saw the potential in you. You are good but not great, Enough said!!!
Mr Saha made a 'meal' out of his tackle by Ben Haim but Man Utd have been denied a couple of penalty claims already. So justice has been served?
Nevertheless, Man Utd deserved the win. Chelsea looked like a pack of lost sheep on the field. Only time will tell how Chelsea will do this season. All the best to the Blues. All is not lost, the season is still a long way to go and any team can still win the league.
Arsenal are top of the table without Henry and it does not seem like he is being missed. Fabregas has annouced his arrival and his captaincy proves it.
But as always - It is sweet revenge and Man Utd are on a five game winning streak and have pushed themselves up to second spot. Congrats to Mr Tevez and may you score more brilliant goals for the Red Devils.

Cuba lagi!!
I have not been typing down anything much and just simply updating my blog via my trusty K800i. But it seem like today would be a good day to get something down and piss people off.
So the current EPL leader, Man Utd were dumped out from the most pretigious european competition early this morning away from home at San Siro, home of the italian giants, AC Milan. No doubt Milan were the better team. They played tremendously well and the Milan fans were amazing. But I would reckon a riot would occur should Man Utd have clinched that all important goal to seal their ticket to Athens. But Kaka and Co. opened the Red Devils defence as easy as opening a can of tuna.
So the finals on May 23rd will witness Milan against Libapul. Will Libapul beat Milan again as they did two years ago? Well I reckon Libapul would want to win it because they have nothing else to win this season. It seems as if they are only good at playing in Europe and very inconsistent at playing in the League. I bet many Libapulians would agree with me.
So why is that Libapul fans taunt the Man Utd fans here in Brunei? The early morning result broke many Man Utd supporters hearts. We even congratulated Libapul fans for going to the final in hope to meet them in Athens. But lady luck was not on our side so we bowed out of the competition.
I received so many messages and calls by Libapul fans. All making fun of the 3-0 bashing at San Siro.
What do you think was my reaction? Did I get angry? Did I bark back at them?
Instead I laughed and told them my 'other' team will meet their team in Athens. Their replies, 'Boring! Kalah kalahan! Mana bule main dua team!' I just kept on laughing.
My workmates know I support Milan as well because I collect their jerseys too like my friend Mr Alex. *smiles* So I am not really bothered. Besides we still have the EPL and the FA Cup to look forward to. Libapul is no where near second place Chelsea in the league and still they brag about being in the finals. Where are you in the league again?
Milan nearly were not allowed to play in the Champions League after that scandals in Serie A
were made public. They have proved their worth so far. They deserve to be in the finals.
Football is a game that a team can either win, lose or draw. But in a cup competition there must always be a winner. I am not going to make the penalty win as a lucky win because their goalie's brilliance kept their dreams alive.
Many Libapulian fans also said, "Cuba lagi lain kali!" I should ask them, When was the last time Libapul won the EPL? Rather harsh but why provoke in the first place?
I put on a smile and laugh. I accept the defeat and some of my friends were really surprised by my calmness. Its only football lads. There are far worse things happening in the world to sulk about your favourite team being knocked out of the EPL. Besides I am getting married soon so I have other things to worry about.
Win, Lose Or Draw I am Man Utd supporter through and through. Eventhough I have never been to Manchester, lived or studied there but I support them anyways. And Milan! And Barca! And DPMM FC! And many other teams! [Jangan Jealous] *LoL*
Why don't we support our local team? DPMM FC! How many of you follow their progress? They won their away game last night in Melaka. An exhilirating match which saw the new Korean striker from Home Utd score twice to give DPMM FC the valuable three points. So far it has been an impressive season for DPMM FC. Dee Pee Emm Emm Epp Shee!!!
P.S: This post has been intented to state a piece of mind and not provoke libapul fans. If terasa, My Bad! But then again I had stated my intentions earlier anyways.
If you have multiply and you are a Libapul fan, make your way [here]

My quiet weekend
We had booked one of the private dining rooms at Xcapade, G-Town, for 5 people at 1 p.m. Since I got off work 'early' we went straight to G-Town, parked our car and went to the DVD shop across Xcapade. We both love 'House' and we have finished watching both season one and two and to our surprise the shop was already selling Season 3 of House from Episode 1-8.
The lunch went well and we had so many things to discuss and talk about that we did failed to realise that Xcapade was closing. We were the last customers to leave. Mr Bruneian made a lasting impression on us and he did not sell himself short. A truly honest and dedicated person and loves taking beautiful pictures. The whole purpose of the lunch was Mrs Vixennova wanted to introduce Mr Bruneian to us, My Fiance actually, as she is seeking a photographer for our wedding.
Mr Bruneian - Bro, If you ever happen to read this, My Fiance will give you a call soon and please book her tentatively for the first week of June. We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for spending sometime to meet us on a Saturday and share so much with us. We are both grateful.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mrs Vixennova mentioned the lunch in her post yesterday. As I read on her blog - came across her Manners and Ettiquette post. She did a post on Blogging Etiquette and Ms Blackdiamonds did a post on (1) Meeting (2) Party (3) Workplace Etiquette.
I would like to add to this by adding the Cinema Etiquette
Some cinema go-ers can be so inconsiderate that their ignorance is a nuisance to other movie go-ers.
- No matter how many times you see the advert before the movie starts, some ignorant person would still not bother switching off their mobilephone/s or switch the mode to 'Silent'. Do not switch it to 'vibrate' as perhaps the person sitting next to you may get annoyed by this, assuming he/she does not know you.
- If you are expecting an 'IMPORTANT' phone call, do not at anytime go and watch a movie at the cinema. Because if you do, you will answer your phone in the middle of the movie. You will cause unwanted attention by others who wish to enjoy the movie. P.S: It does not matter how low/soft you whisper, you picking up the phone is already annoying.
- If you are expecting an 'IMPORTANT' sms/text msg from someone, #2 applies. You may not be talking but the light from your phone is distracting and people pay good money to watch a movie, not be annoyed by ignorant imbeciles.
- If you have watched the movie and you watch it again with a different partner/crowd of friends, it is not so 'COOL' to talk about the movie as it plays. They will not be impressed by this gesture as you are spoiling the movie for him/her/them. Not only that, you are also spoiling it for the people sitting around you. Again, no matter how soft you talk/whisper people can still hear what you are saying. They might as well give you the money and you tell them the story.
- A civic reminder! Do you realise how sometimes when you catch the 7-ish, 9-ish or midnight movie at the cinema, the place seems a 'little' dirty. The people who watched a movie before you think the cinema hired cleaners to clean the place up. Well here is something you should know, THEY DON'T!!! So stop being a litter bug and throw away your own rubbish. The pop-corn crumbs, I suppose could be forgiven but not your pop-corn cup, food/chocolate wrapper or burger wrapper!! Trust me, it does not kill to throw away your own litter.

Man Utd Brunei Fan Club did a successful gathering last night at Mamih, Beribi. Pictures can be viewed at http://manutdbrunei.com
Next gathering will be on 21st January 2007 - Feature match - Arsenal Vs Man Utd, Emirates Stadium. Place is still undecided, but leaning towards a 'Nasi Kandar' restaurant behind the Bunut Filling Station as proposed by the Webmaster.
I did not make it to the gathering last night as I had a 'poker' game with my Fiance's family, don't get me wrong, we used 'funny' money. Hahahaha. I hope I can make it to the next gathering.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I enrolled to the JPMC gym. An offer one could not refuse, you pay B$100 and become a member for 3 months. My younger bro told me about the offer so I joined with him and his friends. I started today and I did some cardio and lots of running. I worked on my Chest and biceps, chilled in the Jacuzzi and Sauna and I think I had a good workout session.
Next session: Tomorrow after work.
