Inspired Moment

I remember looking the Apple Crunchers at the Foodie bloggers Event. Since I was so stuffed from all the food, I did not try it. But I am sure it tasted great.

Apple + Peanut Butter + Cereal = a good combo anytime.

So while I was driving, I was thinking about the Banana Fritters with a scoop of Vanilla Ice cream from Taurean Cafe. Sia Sia Pun. Then I also thought about making Apple Crunchers to munch on.

Then I had a wicked idea. Why not make something like Apple Crunchers.

At home, Wifey was looking through this cook book for children which I bought after Hameez was born. A cook book for babies to young children. We have been following the book from day one since Hameez could eat and we kinda follow the schedule.

Anyways, there are a couple of banana related recipes and I was inspired.

Banana coated with Honey and Cereal

First get some cereals together. My choices are Coco Crunch and some Wholegrain cereal and some almond flakes.

A place for the honey.

and the most important ingredient, the star of the dish, BANANAS! hehehe. You may choose to cut it into half. I prefer it that way.

Firstly, dip Bananas in Honey and then dip to the plate with the cereal mix.

Then place on tray.

Finish everything and stick in the Oven at high for 5 minutes.

Let it out to cool and put in the fridge over night.

I will update tomorrow when I get to buy Vanilla Ice Cream and take proper picture.

P.S: Do not be discouraged if the cereal mix does not stick. Just keep on trying to put as many cereal mixes as you can. You can always add more once its on the try and ada more honey if you like.

All Pictures above were taken using my iPhone using a free application called 'Polarize' downloaded from the itunes store.

I have decided not to jailbreak my iPhone and just buy the Paid Apps by buying iTunes credit.

Tweeking

In the middle of trying to tweek this place up, I came across this site, the restaurant
Blue Eden and it made me really hungry.

I ate there once with my parents and then once to watch football with my brother.

It is having a promotion now and at only BND$1.50 for Chicken or Beef Kolo Mee till the middle of December. I might drop by one of these days. The food looks really tasty as well, I mean by looking at the pictures.

It also has a 'Dine-In' promo with 20% discount from 2-5 p.m. I'll definitly take pictures and post up something if I ever get a chance to dine in. Plus there is this cool boutique right next to Blue Eden.

No running for me today. My right knee has a slight swelling after the collision with R&aL playing the Futsal Friendly. Sorry again Bro.

My right foot has recovered. I will be hitting the treadmill tomorrow and hopefully I can run. I have decided to focus on cutting down some more seconds off my 5 K run before trying out a full 60 min run.

So when is the next match RA.com?

Cafe Au Lait

//edited - 140607//
Cafe au lait @ Seri D-Lap Mall is a very cosy place to dine in and chill. The place was recommended by her and her husband. Had lunch there yesterday and the place was full. I cannot really comment on the food as I did not have anything heavy for lunch. I tried the Fried Calamari, Nacho's - a must order because its worth it, the Mushroom soup - very creamy, the something tuna salad with corn and beans - has a very interesting taste and no mayo for the dressing but olive oil yeay! and the Jacket Potato with corned beef and melted cheese - not bad.
For drinks I had the Ice blended Hazelnut something - Very nice, I only wished the glass they used as bigger and the serving was a lot because it was so nice. *sigh*
I heard so much about the food yesterday and the next time I go there I am definitely ordering the Beef burger because 'au lait' makes their own patty and its so huge. I saw a female customer order one yesterday but I had brunch with a friend yesterday morning so I was full already plus I intended to do a long run late yesterday afternoon.
So my verdict is - I would recommend anyone to go and dine in at 'au lait'. Until I have engrossed myself in the pastas and burgers I cannot really say much but from what I have heard it is all a 'must' try.
