Ward One

Danial is now at Ward One. The nurses from the SH clinic came by the house late this afternoon and told us to take Danial to the clinic straight away. Hers was in the middle of her post natal massage treatment and I was very unhappy because they came late and demanded us to go when it was clearly an inconvenient time for us. We rushed to the clinic hoping to catch a doctor but they was told all had left. Luckily the nurses were so helpful and there was still a doctor on the ground floor. The nurses persuaded the doctor to give me a referral to allow Danial to go to Ward One at RIPAS. Thank you to the nurses and doctor. You have no idea how grateful I really am. I pray Danial recovers fast and all will be well. Amin

They always say that jaundice is so common but when you see your own baby in the incubator, your heart breaks.

Baby AH tried the chinese medicine as well as 'sunbathing' to help reduce his jaundice but he was well into his second month, if I'm not mistaken, before his jaundice completely disappeared.

Hope Baby Danial recovers soon :)

Hi,

just wanted to share as ive experienced this b4 with my 1st baby. Try to feed Danial with milk, either breastmilk or formula. But of coz, breastmilk is better. The more he feeds, the more he poos, the quicker the jaundice will go away.

Ive experienced this wif my 1st baby and it was heart-breaking to see him 'sunbathed' in the cubicle. I bathed him with the chinese medicine, took him out for a short walk early in the morning. But the jaundice stayed for more than a mth!

But with the 2nd baby, i was more prepared that i kept on feeding her and alhamdulilah, she never went back to ripas after i was discharged from labour.

Just try, inshaAllah your baby will be fine...amin...
