Stitch! Stitch! Go away!


Having had my rest day yesterday, I had intended to do a 5 km run. As I reached the 15 minute mark I felt a sharp pain on the right side of my ribs. A stitch is what my wife would call it. Could anyone care to explain why One would experience a stitch? So I just continued with an uphill climb from incline of 4.5 to 7.0 at a walking speed of 5.0 to 5.5. I hope to reach my goal before my membership expires in January. I am continuing my workout by compensating with a half hour cycling and my sit ups. Rounding off at the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I hope I can do my 5 km run tomorrow. This is after all still my first week back at the gym.
