Negeri Di Bawah Bayu - 8th to 14th December

Before I say my prayers to go to sleep and close my eyes to get my rest before I make a long journey, a long drive to be exact, to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for my end of year holiday. I would like to announce I will not be updating this blog till I get back next wekk on the 14th. I know I don't blog on a regular basis but just a heads up. To my golf buddies, sorry boys I will text you once I come back.

For the first couple of days, I will be on a working visit to meet some youth councils and perhaps partake in a friendly futsal match with the Sabah Youths if time permits.

After that, when all is done, I shall stay at a 'posh' hotel and just 'chill'.

This will be my second drive up to KK and this time will be fun because I will be accompanied by my male cousins and my younger brother.

So I would love to wish anyone who is on his/her holidays, enjoy your break. Time to recharge those batteries, especially Teachers.

Congrats to my former girls, the twins Leesah and Lijah fro getting distinctions 1 and 2 for English in their PMB this year. Also for getting credit 3 to Hjh Sukainah and Akmaliah. Congratulations to all the students who sat for their PMB's this year. If you have done well, Hurray to you. If you did not make to grade, do not give up, try and try again and remember it is not the end of the world.

On a different note, I would like to congratulate a local SME on moving up the ladder in their business strategy. The article came out in the Monday BB edition, December 4th. You can read it [here]

Also in the Monday paper was an article about donation ones 'undergarments' organised by the Lingerie shop in Q-Lap. I went to look for the Monday paper but I am guessing my maid threw it away already. Plus the article is not available online. I might be narrow minded about this issue but why would anyone want to donate ones undergarments? I sympathise the typhoon victims, but would it not be better to donate money so they could afford to buy medicine and food? I do not really remember what the charity was for but, any hoots, I hope there was at least some response.

So till we meet again. Ciao
